TPP - Wikileaks has released another bombshell

TPP: LEAKED DOCUMENTS REVEAL SERIOUS DANGERS TO US SOVEREIGNTY, & OBAMA ...

"Fast track' means it gets pushed through Congress for a vote, unbelievably, before our Congressional Representatives even get to read it. TPP is secret trade deal anyway.

The Secret Treaty That Could Ruin The World

(Breitbart) – Rep. Duncan Hunter is pressuring House GOP leadership, particularly Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), to delay plans to muscle Obamatrade through the House of Representatives quickly.

<br />
 In in a letter to McCarthy obtained exclusively by Breitbart News, he’s asking leadership to slow down and consider the ramifications of what it is doing.
<br />
<br />
“I write to you today to request that you delay any vote on fast-track authority for the Executive until the President has made public all text and information pertaining to the new economic union known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership Commission, as well the ‘Living Agreement’ authority,” Hunter wrote to McCarthy, his fellow California Republican. “My concern is that this allows the President and the members of the union to change the agreement and its membership following adoption.”
<br />
<br />
Hunter’s concern is well founded.

<br />
<br />
Hunter’s concern is well founded.
<br />
<br />

Despite claims from some Obamatrade proponents to the contrary, if Congress approves Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) which would fast-track and all but ensure the approval of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) Pacific Rim trade deal, the “Living Agreement” inside the TPP would allow President Obama and the other TPP nations to add China or any other country for that matter to the deal without seeking approval from Congress.
<br />
<br />
China, President Obama confirmed last week, has been in talks with top Obama administration officials already and is interested in becoming part of TPP. If the House approves TPA as the Senate did—thereby ensuring that TPP will approved—then that technically means, despite anything proponents of this deal say, it would be empowering China and undermining the United States.
<br />
<br />
Hunter’s letter continues by noting that the TPP Commission would create a new global governance, ceding U.S. sovereignty to foreign and global interests, something Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) first revealed in a letter to President Barack Obama last week.
<br />
<br />
“The new Commission would be a self-governing, continuing body authorized to issue policies and regulations affecting our economy, our manufacturers, our workers, our immigration procedures, as well currency, labor and environmental practices,” Hunter wrote. “It is one thing to enhance executive authority with respect to a narrow set of trade policies, it is another to fast-track the creation of a new international structure before a single detail about that structure has been made available to the public.”
<br />
<br />
Hunter noted, too, that Republicans in Congress—since they do have a majority—should be skeptical of President Obama’s intentions.
<br />
<br />
“What we do know is that obtaining a grant of fast-track authority from Congress is among the President’s highest second-term priorities. That should be a strong signal that the President intends to make full use of that power in his remaining time in office,” Hunter wrote to McCarthy. “After all, fast-track would give the President a guarantee than any international agreement he reaches can be ratified without subsequent Congressional input. TPP is just the first of several.” He adds:
<br />
<br />
SPECIAL: Send a PINK SLIP to Congress, putting the President on notice. Tell our lawmakers, “WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND IMPEACHMENT!
<br />
<br />
In the case of TPP, to approve fast-track would be to authorize the President to finalize this new Commission before we even know its authority and reach. Fast-track would also guarantee the President – and his foreign negotiating partners – ratification of this international Commission without the Constitutional treaty vote or even a Senate cloture vote. Shouldn’t we know the details of this new economic union before – not after – we have surrendered our ability to revise it, rewrite it, or regard it as a treaty?
<br />
<br />
McCarthy’s office has thus far refused to respond to Hunter’s letter. McCarthy spokesman Mike Long has also, for several days, refused to answer if the Majority Leader—who supports Obamatrade—has been to the secret room inside the Capitol to read the text of the TPP deal that he’s angling to fast-track.
<br />
<br />
That means that, like House Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), Rules Committee chairman Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX) and Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH), McCarthy’s is choosing to give the public impression he supports legislation even though he wouldn’t know what’s in it. That’s similar to former Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) pushing Obamacare through because Congress supposedly had to pass the bill to find out what’s in it.
<br />
<br />
“The American people are understandably concerned about the loss of sovereignty under this Administration,” Hunter ended his letter to McCarthy.
<br />
<br />
We have seen, with immigration actions, how the Administration has sacrificed the interests of U.S. workers to benefit special interests. It would be irresponsible to give the Administration a green light to form a new, binding international governing authority before we are fully briefed on exactly how he plans to use it. We should not give up our leverage before we have answers.

Obama’s Revenge: DOJ Unleashes New Gun Regs

Obama’s RevenApril 17, 2013 was a dark day for President Obama. It was on that day that his gun control legislation – proposed in the wake of Sandy Hook – was defeated in the Senate. Obama’s promise of making gun control a central component of his second term would not be fulfilled. No one who watched him deliver his angry statement could be mistaken; the president was seeing red. And now, with a new lapdog at the head of the Justice Department, he is ready to exact his revenge.

According to The Hill, the DOJ is getting ready to roll out “more than a dozen” new gun regulations that will never have to be approved by a single elected lawmaker. These regulations, some of which will be implemented by the ATF, “range from new restrictions on high-powered pistols to gun storage requirements,” and they are set to take effect as early as November.
The regulations could also restrict gun ownership based on misdemeanor domestic violence convictions and mental illness claims. This has raised concerns from gun groups who fear that merely seeing a psychiatrist may be enough to fall afoul of the new regulations. The National Rifle Association released a statement saying that such a regulation “creates disincentives for those who need mental health treatment to seek it, increasing whatever risks are associated with untreated mental illness.”
When Attorney General Loretta Lynch was in the hot seat this year, national gun groups warned that she would be little more than “Eric Holder in a skirt.” Republicans stood against her nomination, but there were enough defectors to let her squeak through. Now, eager to please her boss, she may turn out to be even worse than her predecessor.
Going around Congress has become Obama’s favorite way to get things done. With no more elections to worry about, he doesn’t have to concern himself with the criticism. He is desperately trying to carve out a legacy, and he is willing to stomp all over the Constitution in the process. He promised his pet liberals that they would have gun control and, by gum, he is going to deliver on that promise. And as long as the Democrats can keep winning the White House, they can just use executive orders as a convenient substitute for legislation. Pass them down, president to president, until Congress becomes a vestigial limb of the federal government.
Obama is out for his revenge, but that’s only part of it. He came into the White House looking to punish America. To crush the traditions and freedoms that, in his mind, led to racism and oppression for so many years. Conservatives aren’t just the political enemy; we are the entire problem with the country. He wants to crush everything that conservatives care about: national security, border security, gun rights, capitalism, and religious freedom.
Lame duck? Not this president. As we wind our way into the home stretch of his tenure, we are dealing with an Obama that is more dangerous than ever. The punishment is about to begin.

Liberal Professor Fears His Liberal Students | Lean Right America – Advocating our rights for a better America

Liberal Professor Fears His Liberal Students | Lean Right America – Advocating our rights for a better AmericaA liberal professor, writing under the pseudonym “Edward Schlosser,” penned an essay in Vox this week claiming that his liberal students “terrify” him. According to Schlosser, the younger set has grown so attached to their own emotional arguments that it is impossible to challenge their beliefs without running into academic ruin. “I wish there was a less blunt way to put this,” he writes, “but my students sometimes scare me – particularly the liberal ones.”

Schlosser contends that the academic atmosphere today puts a student’s feelings above all else. The dynamic gives “each and every student the ability to claim Grievous Harm in nearly any circumstance, after any affront,” and the power of a teacher to rebut these claims has grown weak. Schlosser says that he and other professors have been forced to adjust their strategies and materials to make sure none of their students are offended.
In making his argument, Schlosser points to a colleague who was not asked to come back after students complained about “offensive” books he’d assigned to the class. These books, written by Mark Twain and Edward Said, were supposed to be a “little upsetting,” claimed the adjunct. That defense inspired even more outrage, and it ultimately closed the door on his tenure at the university.
Schlosser isn’t the first liberal to express contempt for the way the political winds have shifted. The old guard is finding themselves out of touch with the new liberal movement, and it could represent a big crack in the American left. Older liberals – especially those in academics – prize free speech above almost all else. The younger set has no such loyalty. To them, there is no greater crime than to offend. They have mixed up bodily harm with emotional harm; to upset them is to assault them.
Thus we see the rise of the safe space. We see the rise of students claiming that they felt “threatened” by an opinion that didn’t match their own. We see a push for “trigger warnings,” even on texts originating in ancient Greece. Today’s entitled young liberals have their worldview set in stone. They don’t want to hear the other side of the argument. They want to put their fingers in their ears and pretend the world is as they want it to be. Anything that upsets the apple cart must be pushed away.
Schlosser is concerned about the future of academia, but these sheltered ninnies will soon be taking their tyrannical ideology out into the real world. It will start creeping into mainstream politics the same way all of these extreme leftist positions eventually do. Soon enough, we’ll hear calls to boycott Republican debates because the ideas they espouse do not conform to modern feminist theory. And if history is anything to go by, Americans will slowly but surely follow them down this idiotic, stifling path.
It’s hard enough to conduct a reasonable debate of ideas in this country without a set of morons unwilling to engage. Schlosser predicts the demise of liberal politics if this kind of “safe space” liberalism infects the mainstream. If only I could feel that optimistic.
